The World's First Clinical Washbasins with AI Technology

smallbasinrender.png

What makes Michael and Gabriel better than most clinical washbasins.

Michael and Gabriel have completely re-defined what a clinical washbasin unit is to provide, ensuring the ultimate in protection against water-borne pathogens and life-threatening infections. They are the world’s first clinical washbasin units utilising sensor technology and AI algorithms to predict risk levels and can automatically deploy flushing and disinfection to reduce risks when necessary. They are also the only clinical washbasins capable of monitoring biofilm levels to prevent pathogen spread.

Why Use Michael and Gabriel?

Reduces Splashing, Pathogen Build-Up & Aerosol Spread

Patent Pending cylindrical glass washbasin, designed to protect against often overlooked methods of pathogen transmission

i

Protects Patients and Staff Further with Anti-retrograde Contamination Tap Outlet

Hidden tap spout prevents user and cleaner contact and splash-back, minimising chances of contamination

i

Dangerous Biofilm Build-Up Eliminated

Unlike solenoid and Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) which often use rubber or plastic when mixing water, out Hygienic Mixing Valves (HMVs) use ceramic discs. Provides all the benefits of a TMV (consistent mixed water temperature with no scalding risk) with 100% touch-free operation, without compromising on biofilm prevention

i

Prevents Bacteria Growth, Easy to Clean.

Our Michael and Gabriel units are built using naturally antimicrobial materials like copper and glass, making them easy to clean and helps to prevent infection

i

Designed to Detect Potentially Harmful Biofilm

Michael and Gabriel both come equipped with a number of biofilm sensors, to detect pathogens within water flow. Our Michael unit comes equipped with an extra two sensors, proving vital in high-risk areas.

i

Water Management System, Any Time, Any Place.

Installation of each washbasin includes free access to our cloud-based water management system, Seraph Protect, allowing organisations to monitor their water systems anytime, anyplace.

What makes Raphael better than most IPS units?

Raphael is Angel Guard’s next evolution in clinical washbasin units. Raphael is cost effective whilst still providing a high level of in-built technologies to reduce the risks of infection and provide a high level of patient and staff protection.

Integrates developed technologies utilised within Michael and Gabriel i.e., touch-free tap spout, Hygienic Mixing Valve and automated flush cycles. Optional integration of Angel Guard’s Clarence system available.

Why Use Raphael?

Raphael Renders UPDATED.png

Improved Compliance

Installing Clarence into Raphael eliminates the need for manual flush testing of outlets, with the biofilm sensor allowing for better targeted water testing, improving upon ad hoc data gathering methods.

i

Minimises Splashing, Aerosol and Bacterial Growth

Raphael utilises a ceramic basin, equipped with an anti-splash fin, minimising the risk of water aerosol splashing.

i

Reduces Pathogen Growth

Raphael's IPS unit has an antimicrobial surface, preventing pathogen growth from top to bottom. Raphael is constructed with no dirt or bacteria traps at any point. In addition, the surface is 100% waterproof, fire resistance, extremely durable, easy to clean and sustainably constructed. The washbasin is coated with an antimicrobial smooth glaze, help to prevent growth of harmful pathogens

i

Eliminates Retrograde Contamination

Raphael comes equipped with a unique concealed tap spout, with a patent pending pipe-within-a-pipe design constructed from copper with an antimicrobial casing. The air gap within the outlet helps virtually eliminate the chance of retrograde contamination through cleaning, splash-back or even users making contact.

i

No More Harmful Blockages, Pressure Build-up or Waste Discharge

Raphael features an enlarged waste and trap constructed from copper. The enlarged trap helps to reduce the risk of blockages occurring, with an air-admittance device fitted which helps to prevent positive/negative pressure build-up – preventing the contents of the trap and waste from discharging back into the basin.

i

Dangerous Biofilm Build-Up Eliminated

Unlike solenoid and Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) which often use rubber of plastic when mixing water, our Hygienic Mixing Valves (HMVs) use ceramic discs. Provides all the benefits of a TMV (consistent mixed water temperature with no scalding risk) with 100% touch-free operation, without compromising on biofilm prevention.
